I spent my break at home, worrying about college and all the applications that are still works in progress. I finished and summitted my application to JMU which I am quite proud of but I still need to write the essays for GMU and VCU. I'm going to apply to all these schools but I think I've decided that if I don't get into JMU that I will just go to TCC and do the transfer program there. I've been dreaming of going to JMU since freshman year and I don't think I want to give that dream up, plus it will save me a lot of money. Speaking of money, scholarships are in the forefront of my mind now; they are my main focus and goal. I worked on looking for some good ones over break.

Senior year is going great so far though. I'm actually really surprised how much I'm enjoying my classes. AP government and AP Psychology are my favorites surprisingly enough, or not. (: I want to have a career in psychology so I guess it isn't really surprising that I love it so much. AP gov on the other hand comes as kind of a shock, I never thought I'd enjoy learning about politics but it feels good to understand and now how our system works. I sometimes let the stress of everything turn me really lazy though. I wait until the last minute for stuff, it'sy biggest downfall, and then I pick and choose what I can and can't get away with and still get a good grade because I get so overwhelmed. BAD IDEA. My grades are kind of taking a hit right now but I'm working on it. Working on my procrastination problem is my new year's resolution. (: I'm excited to see what the rest of senior year has in store for me!
